About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data & Analytics Engineer with strong proficiency in Python programming and cloud‑native development. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), managing infrastructure, and collaborating with data engineers to process large datasets. The individual will also implement CI/CD pipelines, ensure best practices for performance and security, and troubleshoot production issues.

What you will do
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain Python‑based applications and services on GCP.
  • Build and manage GCP infrastructure using tools such as Google Cloud Functions, App Engine, and Cloud Run.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to process large datasets using GCP services like BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
  • Ensure best practices for performance, security, and scalability of cloud applications.
  • Write unit tests and documentation to maintain code quality and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug cloud‑based applications in production environments.
  • Implement automation and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Google Cloud Build.
  • Work with containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and RESTful API design.
  • Apply agile development methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe).
Who you are
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming and cloud‑native development.
  • Hands‑on experience with GCP services and infrastructure management.
  • Familiarity with containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git‑based repositories.
  • Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases and data processing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
