The Opportunity

Join our growing Analytics team and use SQL, data analysis, and financial services knowledge to generate business insights and support decision-making in the wealth management industry. You'll work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams across India and the US, analyze complex data, build metrics, identify trends, and deliver actionable recommendations. Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze complex datasets using SQL to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights that support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Business & Financial Services Analytics: Develop an understanding of financial services, wealth management, investment products, advisor platforms, and business processes to deliver meaningful analysis aligned with business objectives.
• Stakeholder Management & Business Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, operations, and technology teams to understand business challenges, gather analytical requirements, define success metrics, and translate business needs into actionable analytical solutions.
• SQL & Data Exploration: Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract, combine, analyze, and validate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of analytical outputs.
• Reporting & Performance Measurement: Develop and maintain business reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analytical frameworks to monitor operational performance, business trends, and key outcomes.
• Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis: Apply structured analytical thinking to investigate business performance issues, identify underlying drivers, validate hypotheses, and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Data Quality & Governance: Collaborate with data engineering and governance teams to validate data accuracy, investigate discrepancies, understand data definitions, and ensure consistency in business metrics and reporting.
• Business Communication & Storytelling: Present analytical findings, business insights, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.
• AI-Enabled Analytics: Responsibly leverage AI-assisted tools and techniques to accelerate SQL development, data exploration, reporting, documentation, and analytical problem-solving while ensuring accuracy and appropriate data handling.
• Continuous Improvement & Collaboration: Participate in agile ceremonies, knowledge-sharing sessions, and cross-functional initiatives to improve analytical processes, reporting efficiency, and business outcomes across globally distributed teams.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, aggregations, subqueries, common table expressions (CTEs), window functions, and data validation techniques to analyze large datasets.
• Good understanding of the Financial Services domain, including financial products, investment management, wealth management, portfolio services, advisor operations, or related business processes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to engage business partners, gather requirements, clarify expectations, manage priorities, and deliver analytical solutions aligned with business needs.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify business trends, investigate anomalies, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Experience working with business metrics, KPIs, operational reporting, performance measurement, and analytical frameworks.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of relational databases, data warehouses, data modeling concepts, and data transformation processes.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, analytical consistency, and quality of deliverables.
• Ability to manage multiple analytical requests, prioritize competing business needs, and work effectively with stakeholders across different functions and time zones.
• Familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms is a plus.
• Exposure to Python for data analysis, automation, or advanced analytical techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics tools and emerging analytical technologies is a plus.
• Experience with financial services data, including client accounts, investment portfolios, assets under management (AUM), transactions, advisor activity, or operational metrics, is a plus.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid, globally distributed organization, working closely with US-based business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, financial services analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related analytical role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands‑on experience using SQL for business analysis, data investigation, reporting, and insight generation.
• Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver analytical insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Prior experience in financial services, wealth management, investment management, fintech, or related industries is preferred.
