Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree (B.E., B.Tech., M.Tech., or equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from an Indian university.
• Experience with SQL - writing queries, understanding data models, working with analytical datasets; coursework or personal projects count.
• Familiarity with Python for data work; classroom or project experience is fine.
• Eagerness to learn and actively use AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent) as part of your day-to-day workflow. This is a core expectation, not a nice-to-have.
• Curiosity about how businesses work - you want to understand why a metric is defined a certain way, not just how to query it.
• Ability to communicate progress proactively, ask good questions, and document your work clearly.
• Self-starter mindset - you take initiative, seek feedback, and iterate quickly with moderate guidance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior internship or project experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, and/or business intelligence.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Spark, or dbt in any environment (coursework, personal project, or prior role).
• Exposure to data modeling concepts or BI tools (Tableau or similar).
