Job summary

VARITE India Private Limited in Hyderabad is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Customer Success group with analytics, reporting and BI insights. You will respond to data requests, develop dashboards, and deliver data-driven recommendations to guide business decisions.

You will start with foundational reporting, expanding to more complex analytics as you demonstrate understanding of business processes and systems, with opportunities to lead data-driven initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar data-focused role.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and data extraction from large datasets.
• Experience with data visualization and creating dashboards (Tableau a plus).
• Ability to provide actionable insights and concise executive-ready narratives.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support to the Customer Success team promptly and accurately.
• Develop reporting and dashboards to transform data into clear insights.
• Conduct in-depth analyses, identify trends and offer concrete recommendations.

About The Job:

• As a Data Analyst supporting the Customer Success Group, you will be pivotal in providing essential data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence to drive actionable insights. Reporting to a Manager, you will be responsible for fulfilling data requests, performing detailed analysis, and delivering results that directly support key business decisions within the Customer Success organization.
• Your role will begin with foundational reporting and data requests, with responsibilities increasing as you demonstrate a successful understanding of our business processes, methodologies, and systems. You will be encouraged to show initiative in tackling more complex analytical projects and providing data-driven recommendations.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide Analytical Support: Respond promptly and accurately to various requests for data and analysis from the Customer Success business team.
• Develop Reporting & Dashboards: Utilize strong visualization skills (Tableau experience is a plus) to create and maintain impactful reports and dashboards, transforming complex data into clear, consumable insights.
• Conduct In-Depth Analysis: Perform detailed, comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, ensuring that you provide concrete recommendations to support business strategy.
• Communicate Insights: Create clear, compelling narratives and "stories " on slides/decks for executive and leadership audiences, translating analytical findings into strategic business implications.
• Support Business Intelligence: Engage with the business intelligence project lifecycle, applying your experience to the development and delivery of BI solutions (experience is preferred).

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience: 4-6 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar data-focused role.
• Technical Expertise: Strong SQL skills for querying, manipulating, and extracting data from large, complex datasets.
• Visualization: Strong data visualization skills, with specific experience using platforms like Tableau highly valued.
• Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to provide recommendations and actionable insights via detailed analysis.
• Executive Communication: Experience in creating clear, concise narratives and presentations (slides/decks) for executive and leadership review.

Soft Skills:

• Adaptability: Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and comfortable with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaboration: A real team-player with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Drive: Someone who considers every opportunity as a step for success and demonstrates initiative and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in the business intelligence project life cycle.
• Familiarity with or previous exposure to AI/Machine Learning (AI/ML) concepts (not mandatory, but a definite plus).
• Prior experience supporting a Customer Success, Retention, or SaaS-focused team.
