Job summary

Signant Health in Hyderabad is seeking a Data Analyst II to join Client Services and drive data changes and transfers with high accuracy.

You will write and execute SQL queries, work with MS SQL databases, and may use SAS or C# for data tasks. This on‑site role requires 2–4 years of data‑driven experience, strong documentation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience working in a data‑driven environment.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and MS SQL Database for data extraction and transfers.
• Experience with standard data mining and data presentation techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Comfort with collaborating across Client Services and Technical Delivery teams.
• Familiarity with C#, Visual Basic, SAS, GCP, and 21 CFR Part 11 is a plus.

About the Role

The Data Analyst II works with Client Services staff to process data changes upon request. The Data Analyst II is also responsible for delivering data transfers when needed. The Data Analyst II shows high attention to detail to ensure that data updates they conduct, as well as data transfers they output and deliver to our clients are of the utmost quality.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Function

• Demonstrates extreme attention to detail and organization in all aspects of work.
• Responsible for executing data changes per request, either through backend database scripts or with the use of validated in-house Data Solution Tools.
• Creates and executes Data Change Guides (DCGs) and determines corresponding risk/impact assessments.
• Creates DTS packages for imports into study databases.
• Writes and executes SQL queries against MS SQL Database to extract data for Data Transfers and Reports.
• May be called upon to execute SAS queries against MS SQL Database to extract data for Data Transfers and Reports.
• Delivers client‑requested database transfer datasets upon request.
• Participates in meetings with appropriate Client Services and Technical Delivery team members as it relates to study implementation and maintenance.
• Follows Bracket Standard Operating Procedures for data change management, data transfer verification and risk/impact assessment documentation.
• Creates stored procedures to manipulate data for data-driven changes to IXR system functionality if needed.
• Monitors data collected across multiple databases when required.
• May be called upon to verify data change requests.
• May be called upon to verify content of client‑requested database transfer datasets per approved Data Transfer specifications.
• Follow Bracket Standard Operating Procedures for data change management, data transfer verification and risk/impact assessment documentation.
• Some data entry of data change requests may be required.
• Technical support after‑hours, on‑call time is required at set intervals.
• Participates in special data‑related projects as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

Essential:

• 2-4 years of experience working in a data‑driven environment.
• In-depth working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), as well as Microsoft Windows 2000/2003/XP/7 and the suite of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with standard data mining and data presentation techniques.
• Proven ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast‑paced work environment with minimal direct supervision.
• Must have excellent written communication skills, including the ability to effectively document procedures, processes and results.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills, as interaction with team members occurs daily.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines & multi‑task in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Demonstrate extreme attention to detail and organization in all aspects of work.
• Must have very strong skills with Microsoft Office applications.
• Must have very comfortable working with business users and technical teams.
• Ability to create and execute SQL Queries is required.
• Familiarity with C# programming language is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Visual Basic is a plus.
• Familiarity with GCP and 21 CFR Part 11 is a plus.
