Job summary

The iScale in Bengaluru is seeking a data analyst to transform raw data into actionable insights. You will work with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure data reliability and accessibility for strategic decision making.

You will develop robust Python scripts and SQL queries, manage PostgreSQL and OLAP datasets, and create self-service dashboards using Metabase to empower teams across the organization.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a Data Analyst, BI, or similar role.
• Proficiency in Python for data wrangling, scripting, and automation.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SQL, including query optimization.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and at least one OLAP database (e.g., ClickHouse, Redshift, BigQuery, Druid).
• Understanding of columnar storage formats (Parquet, ORC).
• Familiarity with data codecs and compression algorithms (e.g., Snappy, Zstandard, LZ4).
• Deep knowledge of Metabase: dashboard creation, filtering, embedding.
