Job description as Data Analyst

In this role of Data Analyst, you will be responsible for data mining and data reporting activities pertaining to ops processes and speed. You should be passionate about working with complex datasets and be someone who loves to turn data into insights to answer strategic business questions. You should have deep expertise in analytic view of business questions, building up & refining metrics framework to measure business operation and translating data into meaningful insights.

With customer obsession and a high sense of ownership, you will utilize your skills to identify patterns and any disruptions in it. You should be able to dive deep, scrutinize details and foresee data implications.

The candidate relishes working with large volumes of data, enjoys the challenge of highly complex technical contexts, and, above all else, is passionate about data and analytics. He/she is an expert with data modeling, ETL design and business intelligence tools, has hand‑on knowledge on columnar databases such as Redshift and other related AWS technologies. He/she passionately partners with the customers to identify strategic opportunities in the field of data engineering. He/she is a self‑starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big (while paying careful attention to detail) and enjoys working in a fast‑paced team that continuously learns and evolves on a day to day basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Driving critical metrics to monitor and optimize the business
  • Generating actionable Insights through Analysis of Key metrics across functions
  • Identify the root cause through deep analysis of data to reach a point where actionable solutions can be designed.
  • Track, measure and report various initiatives to improve defects leading to reimbursements and improve selling partner experience
  • Define, track Key metrics that need to be monitored to improve defects leading to reimbursements and improve selling partner experience
  • Devise mechanisms for control, performance monitoring, and reporting to internal stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ years of data analytics or automation experience
  • 1+ years of capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL
  • Knowledge of SQL and Excel at a moderate or advanced level
  • Experience with data mining tools like SQL, SAS, SPSS, or similar
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of business analysis (dealing with large complex data) experience
