Ecolab is seeking a Data Analyst to utilize data analysis principles, document findings, and support business processes in Pune, India. You will work primarily under limited supervision, contributing to projects with relevance in data governance and quality evaluation.

Job Characteristics: Demonstrates use and application of data analysis principles to examine data systems and determine relationships and meaning of data, as it relates to business and system technical processes, and document accordingly. The employee should demonstrate mastering of skills in at least two of the following data analysis areas: SQL language usage, data governance and security practices, ELT/ETL strategy, quality‑of‑data evaluation and assessment, and data requirements generation through research and discovery.
Education/Work Experience: Typically requires a degree and 2-4 years experience; or no degree and 6-8 years combined education and equivalent work experience (typically 1 year experience = 1 year education).
Independence Level/Reports to: Works under limited supervision on assigned tasks or portions of projects to determine and develop approach to meet desired objectives. May lead projects/research with limited scope and complexity. Normally reports to Data Analyst Manager.
