Job summary

ConnectWise in Pune, India seeks a Data Analyst to transform complex data into actionable insights underpinning strategic decisions. You will design and maintain Power BI dashboards, standardize data models, and ensure governance across analytics assets.

Qualifications

Position Overview

The Data Analyst plays a critical role in converting complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic and operational decision‑making. This role requires strong analytical expertise, advanced proficiency in Power BI, Snowflake, and DBT, and the ability to independently manage multiple initiatives across diverse stakeholder groups. The ideal candidate brings a solid understanding of operational metrics, business logic documentation, and end‑to‑end dashboard development within a governed analytics environment.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboard Development & Reporting

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Power BI dashboards to support internal business stakeholders.
• Transform raw and complex datasets into clear, actionable insights using effective data visualization and analytics.
• Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, intuitive, visually compelling, and aligned with business requirements and data governance standards.

Stakeholder Management & Requirements Gathering

• Partner closely with business stakeholders to gather, validate, and refine reporting and analytics requirements.
• Document business logic, data definitions, operational KPIs, data models, and technical transformations in a clear and structured manner.
• Communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams, proactively managing expectations and dependencies.

Technical Skills

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries within Snowflake to support analytical and reporting needs.
• Build and maintain scalable data models and transformations using DBT (Data Build Tool).
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across all reporting layers and analytical assets.

Operational Metrics & Analysis

• Analyze and monitor key operational metrics to provide visibility into business performance.
• Generate insights and recommendations that drive process improvements, efficiency gains, and better business outcomes.

Work Management & Execution Excellence

• Deliver high‑quality analytical outputs in fast‑paced environments with tight timelines.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently with strong prioritization, organization, and time‑management skills.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong ownership, accountability, and follow‑through.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and dashboard design.
• Advanced proficiency in Snowflake and complex SQL query development.
• Practical experience using DBT for data transformation, modeling, and pipeline development.
• Solid understanding of operational metrics, KPIs, and performance reporting frameworks.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure in dynamic business environments.
• Strong communication skills with proven stakeholder‑management capabilities
