Acme Services Private Limited is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Platform Administrator to manage Microsoft Fabric, its workspaces, and guardrails across enterprise analytics environments. You will coordinate with data engineers, security, and governance teams to ensure compliant, scalable, and well-documented operations.
Responsibilities include capacity planning, cost monitoring, and enabling business units while maintaining platform stability.
Job Description:
Administer and manage Fabric capacities, workspaces, permissions, and tenant wide settings
Define and implement standards, guardrails, and usage models for Fabric in alignment with IT governance
Manage access control, data segregation, and role concepts across Fabric workspaces and environments
Monitor platform usage, performance, and costs, and proactively optimize capacities and workloads
Support integration of Fabric with existing enterprise systems, data sources, and platforms
Provide 2nd / 3rd level support for Fabric related incidents, issues, and operational questions
Ensure documentation, operational procedures, and handover of platform components
Advise business units and IT teams on Fabric capabilities, limitations, and best practices
Review and assess Fabric usage scenarios, solutions, and architectures from an enterprise perspective
Collaborate closely with MS Fabric Architect, data engineers, security, and governance functions
Strong hands on experience administering Microsoft Fabric and/or related Microsoft analytics platforms (e.g. Power BI, Azure Synapse, Data Factory)
Solid understanding of Fabric concepts such as capacities, workspaces, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and semantic models
Experience operating productive enterprise data and analytics platforms
Strong understanding of identity, access management, data security, and compliance principles
Experience establishing and enforcing platform standards and governance models
Ability to balance enablement of business teams with platform stability and control
Structured, reliable, and quality driven working style with strong documentation skills
Good English communication skills in an international, distributed team setup
