Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging dance classes for students of different age groups and skill levels.
• Teach appropriate dance techniques, choreography, movements, rhythm, and expressions.
• Develop and teach routines for annual functions, cultural events, competitions, and other performances.
• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, disciplined, and encouraging learning environment.
• Ensure proper warm-up, stretching, and safe dance practices.
• Select suitable music, costumes, and choreography for performances.
• Coordinate with teachers, parents, and management when required.
• Keep up to date with current dance styles and teaching methods.

Requirements

• Formal training or qualification in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a dance teacher, instructor, or choreographer preferred.
• Strong knowledge of one or more dance styles such as Indian Classical, Bollywood, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Western, or Folk dance.
• Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
• Ability to work with children and motivate students of varying abilities.
• Creative, energetic, patient, and responsible.

Preferred Skills

• Choreography and stage-performance experience.
• Experience preparing students for competitions or school performances.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team.
