Job summary

HCLTech seeks a Senior Functional Lead to drive ERP initiatives using D365 F&O in Bangalore. Strong communication and a frontline role in client interaction are essential. You will design and document business requirements, guide data migration, and lead testing and configuration in an agile, DevOps-enabled environment.

The candidate should have 8–15 years of experience, a deep finance background, and the ability to work with customers independently on end-to-end deployment projects.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience in finance or ERP projects.
• Experience with D365 F&O modules and full lifecycle implementations.
• Finance domain knowledge to map client processes.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to define and align business requirements to the D365 F&O solution.
• Gather requirements and document functional specifications for standard to-be processes.
• Estimate workload for specs, data migration and development with the technical team.
• Define data migration strategy and perform system configuration and testing.
• Collaborate in an Agile product team with DevOps practices.

Designation Role : Senior Functional Lead

Required years of Exp : 8 to 15 years

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 days

• Finance Consultant with knowledge of D365 F&O modules and more than 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle customers independently.
• Experience with full life-cycle project implementations.
• Strong knowledge of D365 F&O modules such as General Ledger, Cash and Bank Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Project Management and Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Asset Leasing.
• Adequate finance domain knowledge to understand and provide recommendations on client business processes.
• Work closely with clients and other team members to define, design, and align the business application with business requirements.
• Gather requirements from the client and document functional specifications for standard to-be business processes in the new system.
• Estimate the workload for specifications, data migration, and development with the help of the technical team.
• Document functional specifications for gaps identified in design workshops.
• Define and organize the data migration strategy.
• Perform functional setup and configuration of the system.
• Define, organize, and execute the test plan and prepare test data.
• Ability to work in an Agile product team with daily interaction with both consulting and business teams, along with strong hands-on experience in DevOps.
