Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking an IAM Engineer to join our team in a hybrid setup. You will work on identity management, authentication methods, and integrations with enterprise platforms, ensuring secure access across critical systems.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of IAM experience, hands-on expertise with Okta or Entra ID, and a strong ability to automate security workflows using scripting and REST APIs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate IAM solutions for enterprise environments.
• Configure and manage authentication methods including SAML 2.0, OIDC/OAuth 2.0, and SCIM 2.0.
• Troubleshoot authentication, provisioning, certificates, tokens, and identity synchronization issues.
• Automate workflows and integrations using REST APIs, PowerShell or Python.
• Collaborate with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow and monitor security logging and SIEM events.

The Role

• 3+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, or comparable enterprise identity platforms.
• Understanding of IAM concepts including authentication, authorization, federation, SSO, MFA, identity lifecycle management, RBAC, and least privilege.
• Working knowledge of SAML 2.0, OIDC/OAuth 2.0, and SCIM 2.0.
• Experience creating automation through workflows, scripting, REST APIs, PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues involving authentication, provisioning, certificates, tokens, claims, attributes, or identity synchronization.
• Experience working with ServiceNow or another enterprise ITSM platform.
• Familiarity with security logging, monitoring, and SIEM technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Okta Workflows, Okta Identity Governance, or Okta Advanced Server Access.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra capabilities such as Conditional Access, PIM, Identity Protection, Microsoft Graph, enterprise applications, or app registrations.
• Experience integrating IAM platforms with HR systems, Microsoft 365, Azure, ServiceNow, or other enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with workload identities, service principals, application credentials, certificates, and secrets.
• Experience operating IAM services in a large enterprise or regulated environment.
• Okta, Microsoft, cybersecurity, cloud, or IT service-management certifications.
