Job summary

Punch Powertrain NV in Pune, India, is hiring a Cyber Security Architect to lead cyber security activities for series production programs and assist the program team in delivering the security case artifacts in compliance with ISO 21434.

You will drive Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments, develop security concepts and requirements, and guide software engineers through vulnerability analysis and verification testing, collaborating with a global, diverse team.

Qualifications

• Experience with cyber security in embedded systems (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of ISO 21434 and UNECE WP.29 R155 preferred.
• Excellent written and oral English communication.
• Strong problem solving and contingency planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber security activities in compliance with ISO 21434.
• Lead or support TARA with other functional engineers.
• Lead or support security concept and requirements development.
• Coordinate with software engineers for vulnerability analysis and issue tracking.
• Guide verification engineers in security verification testing and vulnerability management.

Job description

The Cyber security Architect is responsible for leading the Cyber Security activities for series production programs and providing assistance to the program team in delivering the work products of the security case and in complying with various regulations. He/She is reporting to the System Engineering Functional Leader.

Job content:

• Lead cyber security activities in compliance with ISO 21434
• Lead/Support Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) in collaboration with other functional engineers
• Lead/Support Security Concept development
• Lead/Support Security Requirement development, Security Requirement review, and work closely with functional engineers to ensure the execution of these requirements
• Lead/Guide software engineers in vulnerability analysis (static code analysis, known vulnerability analysis) and support tracking cyber security implementation issues based on the vulnerability analysis
• Lead/Support verification engineer in security verification test and its vulnerability management

Your profile:

• MSc degree in Software, Electrical or Computer Science or similar Engineering
• 4-8 years of demonstrated experience with cyber security in embedded systems is preferred, experience in the automotive or aerospace industry is a plus
• Basic knowledge of ISO 21434 and/or UNECE WP.29 R155 is preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Must display ability to identify problems, recommend solutions, and negotiate and execute contingency plans
• Strong teamwork skills
