Job summary

Sopra Steria is looking for a Security Operations Analyst (2–4 years) to monitor client environments, detect threats, and coordinate incident handling from Noida. You will apply MITRE-based approaches, review incidents for SOP compliance and work with clients to improve service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 3 years experience working in security operations or IT operations Data Centre, SOC/NOC.
• Detect and notify threats in customer environments in a timely manner.
• Understand and apply the MITRE Framework in monitoring and incident handling.
• Review incidents to ensure SOP compliance and drive quality deliverables.
• Provide training and feedback to Security Analysts to maintain high-quality outputs.
• Identify and implement improvements in monitoring, threat scenarios and procedures.
• Interact with customers regarding service deliverables and improvements.
• Contribute to MSSP services and incident handling
• Perform root cause analysis for errors/deficiencies in monitoring.
• Review alerts for relevancy and urgency and create new trouble tickets.

Job Description

Experience: 2 to 4 yrs

Location: Noida

Engineering Graduate - preferably B.E. /B tech in I.T or Computer Engineering.

Job Description:

1. Minimum 3-year experience working in security operations environment or 3 years’ experience in IT operations Data Centre, SOC/NOC.
2. Ensure all threats at customer environment are detected and notified in timely manner
3. Good Understanding of MITRE Framework
4. Continuous review of Incidents to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures
5. Provide training and feedback to Security Analysts to ensure high quality deliverables
6. Identify and execute continuous improvements in monitoring including threat scenarios and operating procedures
7. Interact with customers on queries and improvements related to service deliverables
8. Should know and able to contribute to MSSP services (Managed Security Services Provider)
9. Perform root cause analysis for any errors /deficiencies pointed out in the monitoring service
10. Review the alert to determine relevancy and urgency, create new trouble tickets for incident
11. Ensure thorough knowledge of Protection of Personal Identifiable Information and GDPR

Skills

1. Very good English verbal & written communication skills
2. Good understanding of networking concepts and operating systems
3. Good understanding of key customer infrastructure components - Proxy , Firewall , Antivirus
4. Technical capability and maturity to assist and guide the team of Analysts
5. Must have hands-on and good understanding of the following security tools: (SentinelOne IR,Service Now Tool, Microsoft Defender, Cwoudstrike)
6. Ability to learn new skills and adopting new technologies and work collaboratively in an international context.
7. Capability to understand and work in a complex environment and concern for quality and detail.
8. Ability to synthesize and analyze a variety of contexts and manage customer confidentiality.
9. Knowledge on ITIL basic practice

Total Experience Expected: 02-04 years

Qualifications

1. Engineering graduate - preferably B.E. /B tech in I.T or Computer Engineering
2. At least three Certification Preferred from the following
3. AZ-900: Azure Fundamentals certified
4. SC-900: Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals certified
5. SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst
6. BLT1: Blue Team Level 1
7. CompTIA Security Analyst CySA+
