Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or final-year student in CS/IT/Cyber Security or related field
• Strong understanding of computer networks, operating systems, and security fundamentals
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, and firewalls
• Basic understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and common attack vectors
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line usage
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python/JavaScript/Bash/PowerShell
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption, and cryptography concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Curiosity and self-learning mindset with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Prepare security assessment reports and documentation.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and security-minded Cyber Security Intern to join our growing Information Security team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals, along with a passion for ethical hacking, penetration testing, and security research.

This role is designed for candidates who aspire to build a long-term career in Cyber Security and eventually grow into a Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert (SME). The intern will work closely with infrastructure teams, developers, and QA teams to identify vulnerabilities, improve security posture, and support information security initiatives.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and common attack vectors
