Job summary

GK HR Consulting India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join the Attack Monitoring, Analytics & Tooling team. The role focuses on developing Python-based integration functions for SOAR playbooks and implementing automations for detection and response.

You will work with project managers, technical architects, and IT analysts, providing consultancy on technical questions while maintaining essential documentation and improving deployment processes in a large enterprise environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join our team and help us to:

Develop integration functions written in Python to be used in SOAR platform playbooks

Implement SOAR automations playbooks for detection and response

Work closely with Project Managers, Technical Architects, 2nd level support, and IT Business Analysts

Provide consultancy to the project team with regards to technical questions

Maintain documentation relevant to operations (operational manual, installation guide, etc.)

Maintain & improve existing deployment and build mechanisms

You will be working in the Attack Monitoring, Analytics & Tooling team. Our team is global, diverse, and collaborative as we work across organizations to keep our technology, applications, and the businesses they support secure.

Your expertise:

Excellent Python knowledge

Excellent knowledge of Red Hat Linux environments in a large enterprise

Knowledge of unit testing and frameworks BASH scripting

Knowledge and experience of CI/CD deployment pipelines or configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Gitlab, Nexus, Jenkins, etc.)

Familiarity with SOAR systems preferably IBM SOAR a plus

Technical communication and documentation skills

Experience working in a large complex organization.

Skills to design, plan and deliver solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment

Curious, collaborative, and constantly interested in learning new things

Ability to solve complex issues, good at problem statement analysis and solution design thinking,
