Scyverge Labs Private Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer with hands-on VAPT experience to assess web apps, APIs, networks, and cloud environments. You will identify vulnerabilities, document findings, and provide remediation guidance for enterprise clients.

The role requires strong analysis, reporting skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team within a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in security testing and VAPT.
• Strong knowledge of web apps, APIs, networks and infrastructure security.
• Familiar with OWASP Top 10 and common vulnerabilities.
• Experience with Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus/OpenVAS, Metasploit, Kali Linux.

About the Role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer with hands-on experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT). The role involves performing security assessments across web applications, APIs, networks, cloud environments, and IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing across web applications, APIs, networks, and infrastructure.
• Identify, validate, and document security vulnerabilities.
• Perform manual security testing along with automated vulnerability scanning.
• Prepare clear technical and executive-level security assessment reports.
• Provide remediation recommendations to clients.
• Conduct vulnerability retesting and verify remediation.
• Stay updated on emerging vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and security tools.
• Participate in cybersecurity assessments and client engagements.
• Work closely with the internal security team to improve testing methodologies and processes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience.
• Strong understanding of web application, API, network, and infrastructure security.
• Good knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and common security vulnerabilities.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus/OpenVAS, Metasploit, Kali Linux, or similar tools.
• Ability to analyze vulnerabilities and prepare professional technical reports.
• Good communication and client interaction skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Security certifications such as CEH, eJPT, CRTP, or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory.
