Rolls-Royce is seeking a Cyber Security Architect to design and maintain security architectures for IT systems and applications in Pune. You will ensure alignment with ISO27001 and other standards, while guiding project teams and collaborating with the CDC/SOC to strengthen incident response and security controls.

The role requires 5–10 years of IT security architecture experience, strong knowledge of security frameworks, and the ability to communicate complex topics to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT Security or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of professional IT security architecture experience.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO27001, NIST) and architecture methodologies.
• Experience designing secure IT infrastructures, networks and cloud environments.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop cyber security architectures for IT systems and applications, ensuring alignment with business and compliance requirements.
• Analyze existing IT infrastructures to identify risks and vulnerabilities.
• Define and implement cyber security standards, guidelines, and best practices across the organization.
• Guide project teams in integrating security requirements into designs and plans.
• Conduct security assessments, architecture reviews, and risk analyses for systems.
• Collaborate with CDC/SOC to improve incident response and security measures.
• Lead cyber security projects including cloud, network and application security.
• Provide training on cyber security topics to IT teams and business units.
• Stay updated on trends and adapt security architecture accordingly.
• Support partners in operating security services like Proxy, CASB, Firewall, Vulnerability Management.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop cyber security architectures for IT systems and applications, ensuring alignment with business and compliance requirements.
• Analyze existing IT infrastructures and applications to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Define and implement cyber security standards, guidelines, and best practices across the organization.
• Support project teams in integrating cyber security requirements into solution designs and project plans.
• Conduct cyber security assessments, architecture reviews, and risk analyses for new and existing systems.
• Collaborate with the Cyber Defence Center / Security Operations Center (CDC/SOC) to ensure effective incident response and continuous improvement of security measures.
• Lead and participate in cyber security related projects, including cloud security, network security, and application security.
• Provide guidance and training to IT teams and business units on cyber security topics.
• Stay up to date with current cyber security trends, threats, and technologies, and proactively adapt the security architecture accordingly.
• Steer and support our partners in operating cyber security services like Proxy, CASB, Firewall, and Vulnerability Management service.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a comparable qualification.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in IT security architecture or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST), security technologies, and architecture methodologies.
• Experience in designing secure IT infrastructures, networks, and cloud environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex security topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in English, written and spoken.

Optional Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience with Data Loss Prevention and Data Classification is an advantage.
• Fluency in German language is beneficial.
