Job summary

Precise Testing Solution PVT LTD is seeking a security testing assistant to support VAPT activities for web applications, APIs, and network infrastructure. You will help identify vulnerabilities, document findings, and contribute to client reports, working under the guidance of senior security engineers.

The role requires familiarity with OWASP Top 10, basic risk assessment, and hands-on use of industry-standard tools. Training and mentoring are provided as part of a security-focused team.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of vulnerability assessment and risk analysis.
• Familiarity with common web and API security issues.
• Understanding of security testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing for web applications, APIs, and network infrastructure.
• Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities and potential risks.
• Perform basic security testing using tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, and Metasploit.
• Understand and test common vulnerabilities based on the OWASP Top 10.
• Conduct basic network and web application security assessments.
• Document identified vulnerabilities with evidence, risk ratings, and recommendations.
• Assist in preparing VAPT and security assessment reports.
• Support senior security team members during penetration testing and security assessments.
• Perform vulnerability validation and re-testing after remediation.
• Maintain proper documentation of security findings and testing activities.
• Stay updated with basic cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.
• Follow organizational security policies, testing procedures, and client requirements.
