Skybound Wealth Management in Mumbai is seeking a technically capable Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team and strengthen the Group’s security posture across international offices.

You will secure Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, investigate incidents, implement controls and support regulatory programs while collaborating with global colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
• 4+ years of cybersecurity or information security experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure security.
• Hands-on experience with Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, CA and IAM.
• Experience securing Microsoft cloud environments and investigating incidents.
• Knowledge of email security and phishing protection.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve security posture of Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Configure and maintain security controls across Entra ID, Exchange Online and Microsoft 365.
• Review user permissions and privileged access.
• Manage email security including SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
• Investigate security incidents and phishing attempts.
• Monitor security alerts and coordinate remediation.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking.
• Support regulatory and compliance initiatives (DORA, Reg-S).
• Assist with security policies, risk assessments, audits and third-party reviews.

About Us

We are seeking a technically capable and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Mumbai. This stand‑alone role will play a key part in strengthening and maintaining the Group’s cybersecurity posture across all international offices.

Working with our internal Technology team and outsourced IT provider, you will secure our Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure environments, investigate security incidents, implement security controls and support regulatory and compliance initiatives.

Our technology estate is primarily built on Azure and Microsoft 365, with core business applications including our CRM, Advice Suite and client‑facing platforms hosted in Azure. We are looking for someone who understands how to secure a modern Microsoft cloud environment and is passionate about cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the security posture of Microsoft 365 and Azure, including Azure-hosted business applications.
• Configure and maintain security controls across Entra ID, Exchange Online and Microsoft 365.
• Review user permissions, privileged access and authentication controls.
• Manage and improve email security, including spam filtering, phishing protection and SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
• Investigate suspicious emails, phishing attempts, account compromises and other security incidents.
• Monitor security alerts, coordinate remediation and work with internal teams and third‑party providers.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and track remediation activities.
• Identify security risks and recommend improvements to strengthen the Group’s cybersecurity posture.
• Support regulatory and compliance initiatives, including DORA, Reg‑S and other applicable frameworks.
• Assist with security policies, risk assessments, audits and third‑party security reviews.
• Support implementation of security standards and best practices.
• Support phishing simulations and cybersecurity awareness initiatives across the organisation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• 4+ years’ experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure security.
• Hands‑on experience with Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Conditional Access and IAM.
• Experience securing Microsoft cloud environments and investigating cybersecurity incidents.
• Strong knowledge of email security, phishing protection and Microsoft 365 security best practices.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Experience with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Sentinel, Mimecast, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls or similar frameworks would be advantageous, as would experience in Financial Services or another regulated industry.

Relevant certifications such as Security+, SC-200, SC-300, AZ‑500, CISSP or equivalent are also desirable.
