Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions in India is seeking an experienced SOC/Cyber Security professional to monitor, protect and respond to security incidents across on-premises and cloud environments. You will work with Windows and Linux, assess threats, and support vulnerability management.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with TCP/IP networks, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and log analysis, plus basic scripting in Python, PowerShell or Bash.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in SOC/cybersecurity or information security.
• Strong network security knowledge.
• Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
• Proficient with Windows and Linux OS.
• Experience with endpoint security, threat monitoring, and incident response.
• Familiarity with IDS/IPS and firewalls.
• Experience with vulnerability management and log analysis.
• Knowledge of SOC processes and malware analysis concepts.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud security.
• Scripting basics in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong multitasking abilities.
