Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Cyber Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automation solutions that enhance cybersecurity operations across multiple domains, including Identity & Access Management (IAM), Security Operations Center (SOC), Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Vulnerability Management, and Cloud Security. The role focuses on improving operational efficiency by automating repetitive security processes, integrating security tools, and enabling scalable, event-driven security operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions across cybersecurity services including IAM, SOC, GRC, Vulnerability Management, and Cloud Security.
• Identify manual, repetitive, and error-prone cybersecurity processes and implement automation using scripting, orchestration, and low-code/no-code platforms.
• Develop automation workflows using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Integrate security tools and platforms using REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven automation to streamline security operations.
• Build and maintain automation playbooks, workflows, and orchestration capabilities across security platforms.
• Develop automated controls, validation mechanisms, compliance checks, and reporting for continuous monitoring and risk management.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps, and Engineering teams to embed automation into security operations and lifecycle processes.
• Automate security incident response, alert enrichment, ticket creation, user provisioning, vulnerability management, and compliance reporting.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize automation workflows to improve performance and reliability.
• Prepare technical documentation, automation runbooks, and knowledge repositories.
• Stay updated with emerging automation technologies, security frameworks, and industry best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in cybersecurity automation and orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Experience integrating applications using REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of SOAR platforms such as Cortex XSOAR, Splunk SOAR (Phantom), Swimlane, Tines, or Microsoft Sentinel Automation.
• Experience with automation tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, Logic Apps, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of cybersecurity domains including:
  • Security Operations (SOC)
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
  • Vulnerability Management
  • Cloud Security
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms and security monitoring solutions.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps is preferred.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
