Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of UX, product design, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years leading design teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive experience vision, strategy, and design principles across products and services.
• Translate insights, market opportunities, and business objectives into roadmaps.
• Lead and grow multidisciplinary teams including UX Designers, Researchers, Content Designers, and Design Ops.
• Establish design practices that promote quality, collaboration, and innovation.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Business, and Delivery to inform decisions with customer needs.
• Drive end-to-end design execution across research, UX, UI, prototyping, and delivery.
• Strengthen design systems, accessibility standards, and reusable patterns.
• Leverage research, usability testing, analytics, and experiments to guide design decisions.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagements, and executive presentations.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a UX Manager who can shape how customers experience our digital products while building the team, frameworks, and standards that make great experiences possible at scale. You will lead multidisciplinary design teams, influence product strategy, champion customer‑centric thinking, and drive measurable business outcomes through exceptional experience design.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive experience vision, strategy, and design principles across products and services.
• Translate customer insights, market opportunities, and business objectives into actionable experience roadmaps.
• Lead, mentor, and grow multidisciplinary teams including UX Designers, Researchers, Content Designers, and Design Operations specialists.
• Establish design practices that promote quality, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Business, and Delivery teams to ensure customer needs inform decision‑making.
• Drive end‑to‑end design execution across research, UX, UI, prototyping, and delivery.
• Strengthen and scale design systems, accessibility standards, and reusable experience patterns.
• Leverage customer research, usability testing, analytics, and experimentation to inform design decisions.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagements, and executive presentations to build alignment.
• Explore and adopt AI‑enabled design workflows, intelligent prototyping, and emerging experience technologies.

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in User Experience, Product Design, Human‑Centered Design, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years leading design teams in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Proven experience building and scaling UX capabilities within complex enterprise environments.
• Experience working with global stakeholders and distributed teams.

Expertise

• Strong capability across multiple design disciplines, including: User Research, User Experience Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Information Architecture
• Expert proficiency in Figma, design systems, prototyping, design tokens, and modern collaborative design workflows.
• Strong understanding of AI‑assisted design tools and emerging experience design technologies.
• Good understanding of Experience strategy, Service Design, Accessibility and Inclusive Design

Leadership

• Strong stakeholder management, client engagement, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to inspire teams through vision, empathy, coaching, and execution.
• Proven ability to influence outcomes, navigate ambiguity, and balance strategy with delivery.
• Strong business acumen and customer‑centric mindset.

What We Look For

• Bachelors or Masters in Design, HCI or related disciplines or graduation with proven experience in design.
• Certification programs from institutions like IITs, HFI etc. preferable for graduates from non‑design faculties.

Ideally, you’ll also

• Experience in Financial Services, Banking, FinTech, or other regulated industries.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design organizations.
• Experience integrating AI‑driven solutions into design and product development workflows.
