Job summary

Deloitte Development LLC is seeking a Senior Consultant for its Regulatory, Risk & Forensic practice in Bengaluru. You will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead robust pipelines, and manage deployments across environments while mentoring junior teammates.

You will collaborate with global teams to translate requirements into deliverables, oversee estimation and planning, and track metrics to ensure timely, high-quality results throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in business processes across Trading and Contract management, Physical Commodity Trading and their related financial derivatives.
• Familiarity with Pricing tools such as ZEMA.
• Understanding of deal pricing and pricing strategies.
• End of day / End of Month close processes and RA month-close sequence.
• Hedge/offset deals in Right Angle and hedging strategies.
• Intraday, end-of-day, weekly/monthly process understanding.

Position Summary

Level: SeniorConsultant or equivalent

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.

Our Commodity Trading & Risk Management advisory practice solves our clients’ most complex issues and helps drive transformative changes to their supply, trading, and marketing organizations. We support our clients with advice related to physical and financial commodity market challenges through commercial & risk advisory, quantitative analysis, technology and operational advisory services.
Specifically, our service offerings address the operations, compliance, and risk management challenges prevalent across the commodities value chain. These services are organized into three capability areas - Strategic Services, Compliance, Risk & Operational Services, and Technology Services:
Strategic Services help clients define fit-for-purpose operating models for their commodities, define the changes required to realize that vision, and develop a roadmap for execution
Compliance, Risk & Operational Services assess the existing compliance, risk, and operational processes of our clients leveraging proprietary tools to yield insights for improvement or optimization
Technology Services deliver custom and package technology solutions that help our clients manage their commodity business and associated risk & compliance exposures.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

Functional Requirements –

• 6 – 10 years of experience in business processes across Trading and Contract management, Physical Commodity Trading and their related financial derivatives, Scheduling, Mark to Market, Vars, Write on/Write offs, Inventory Management, Invoicing and Accounting.
• Familiarity with Pricing tools such as ZEMA
• Understanding of deal pricing and pricing strategies
• Understand End of day and End of Month processes for the month close. Understanding of the RA month close process and sequence of jobs to be run to facilitate month end.
• Familiarity with Right Angle Risk Management module. Understand hedging strategies and managed or supported Hedge/offset deals in Right Angle.
• Understanding of snapshots – intraday, end of day, weekly and monthly processes.

Technical Requirements –

• Good skills on SQL and .Net
• Have worked on or previously supported integration of Right Angle with other applications using.net class dll and WCF services.
• Leverage AzureDev Ops or similar deployment workflow for RA development and deployments
• Have worked on or have supported Right Angle version upgrades.
• Familiar with deployment of RightAngle enhancements and customizations.

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• Familiarity with Service now ticket system
• Worked on Agile methodologies
• Worked on RightAngle version 15 or above.

Education:

• BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university.
• MBA or related PG preferred
