Job summary

Wipro Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a cybersecurity professional with 6-10 years of experience, including 3-5 years in security assessment, PKI, and cryptographic inventory work. You will perform crypto discovery, evidence collection, and PQC readiness assessment under architect guidance.

You will build CBOM-style inventories, map ownership, maintain risk registers, and support data exposure assessments across teams including PKI, cloud, and security operations. Collaboration is key.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of public-key cryptography, PKI, digital signatures, TLS/SSL, SSH, IPsec, certificates and key management.
• Ability to perform structured discovery using questionnaires, scripts, tooling outputs, asset repositories, CMDBs and application inventories.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity risk assessment, vulnerability context, remediation tracking and basic threat concepts.
• Hands-on ability in Python, PowerShell, Bash, SQL or similar scripting/reporting environments.
• Strong documentation, analysis and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cryptographic asset discovery across applications, certificates, keys, protocols, APIs, middleware, repositories and infrastructure components.
• Identify RSA, ECC, weak key lengths, non-compliant algorithms, certificate dependencies and long-lived encrypted data exposure.
• Build and maintain CBOM-style inventory, ownership mapping, risk register and remediation tracker.
• Support classification of HNDL and TNFL exposure based on data value, certificate/signature trust and business process criticality.
• Conduct interviews and evidence gathering with application, infrastructure, PKI, cloud and security operations teams.
• Support pilot preparation, test documentation and before/after validation evidence.
• Prepare concise assessment reports, findings summaries and client working-session material.

Job Description
