Job summary

Weekday is seeking a CTO - AI & Enterprise Automation in Bengaluru to lead the vision and execution of next-gen AI and automation solutions for enterprise customers. You will architect scalable event-driven services with Python and TypeScript, expose REST APIs/webhooks, and guide engineering culture with CI/CD and secure practices.

You will mentor engineers, influence product roadmaps, and partner with business teams to translate strategy into tangible technical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience at CTO/Head of Engineering level.
• Deep proficiency with Python, TypeScript and FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience building scalable event-driven microservices.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML pipelines and cloud-native infra.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical strategy for AI and automation platform development.

As a CTO - AI & Enterprise Automation, you will lead the vision and execution of next-generation AI and automation solutions for enterprise customers, driving technical excellence across the stack while partnering with product, design, and business teams. You will architect and scale robust, event-driven services built on Python and TypeScript, leveraging FastAPI to expose clean REST APIs and webhooks that integrate with third-party systems. You will steer the engineering culture, ensuring high-quality code, CI/CD pipelines, and cross-functional collaboration, while translating strategic priorities into actionable product roadmaps. Your influence will extend to talent acquisition, mentorship, and continuous improvement of engineering processes, positioning the organization at the forefront of AI-powered enterprise transformation.
