Job summary

Takeda in Bengaluru (IND) seeks a Salesforce Developer with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud configuration, customization, and integrations. You will work on Apex, Lightning components, and middleware integrations, building scalable Salesforce solutions with strong architecture knowledge.

Experience with MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, and Git-based version control is required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Apex, SOQL, SOSL and Lightning Web Components.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Data Cloud.
• Experience with REST & SOAP Web Services and OAuth mechanisms.
• Knowledge of deployment processes and Git-based version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Configure Salesforce (Objects, Fields, Page Layouts, Validation Rules).
• Develop Apex classes, triggers, batch and scheduled Apex, LWCs and Visualforce.
• Implement integrations using MuleSoft and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Write unit tests and ensure code coverage; participate in code reviews and documentation.
• Troubleshoot production issues; collaborate with analysts, architects and stakeholders.
• Follow DevOps practices including CI/CD and version control.

Salesforce Developer (5–7 Years Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in Salesforce sales cloud and /or service cloud configuration, customization, and system integrations using middleware platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Apex, Lightning components, and integration frameworks, along with a solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Perform Salesforce configuration including:
  • Custom Objects, Fields, Page Layouts
  • Validation Rules, Workflows, Process Builder, Flow
  • Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules
• Develop custom solutions using:
  • Apex Classes, Triggers, Batch Apex, Scheduled Apex
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components
  • Visualforce Pages
• Implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using middleware platforms such as:
  • MuleSoft
  • REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Web Services
• Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs.
• Write unit tests and ensure code coverage as per Salesforce standards.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
• Follow DevOps best practices including CI/CD and version control.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Apex, SOQL, SOSL
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Salesforce Flows
• Experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Data Cloud (Data360).
• Strong experience in integration using middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft)
• Experience with:
  • REST & SOAP Web Services
  • OAuth and authentication mechanisms
  • JSON, XML
• Knowledge of Salesforce deployment processes (Change Sets, DevOps tools).
• Experience with Git-based version control systems.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Have experience working in pharma companies or with pharma clients
• Have experience working in pharma commercial domain ie building Commercial and Medical CRM in pharma

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce certifications such as:
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I / II
  • Salesforce Administrator
• Experience with CI/CD tools, Salesforce Devops.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
