The ideal candidate holds BCCI/NIS/ICC certification, at least 3 years coaching experience, has state-level playing experience, and can lead with strong communication, leadership and safety awareness while fostering growth and competitive excellence.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and deliver training programmes and sports activities for individuals and teams.

• Encourage participation and achievement in competitions and events.
• Identify strengths and weaknesses to develop training plans and build confidence using various coaching styles.
• Motivate players to participate in contests to develop edge over competitors.
• Collaborate with management, administration and staff to support player development.
• Ensure availability of sports goods and infrastructure according to schedule.
• Advise on nutrition, health, safety and proper use of equipment.
• Create and plan participation in appropriate tournaments to explore abilities and raise performance.
• Assess and evaluate players during training and contests; adjust coaching strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff for a holistic development approach.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for planning, organising and delivering an appropriate range of training programmes and sports activities for individuals and teams.

Apply your expertise to provide advanced guidance on cricket techniques, tactical strategies, and mental preparation.

Create a positive and inclusive training environment that fosters growth, teamwork, and resilience among players.

Teaching relevant sports techniques, skills & tactics and Provide strategies to become better athletes and win competitions.

To provide a safe and enjoyable sporting environment for all students and well-organized sports programs that meet the various needs and interests of all students.

To effectively communicate the rules and procedures of the relevant sports by conducting training sessions to enable better learning

Monitoring and enhancing performance by providing training, encouragement and constructive feedback

Encourage high levels of student participation and achievement in sporting competitions, events, and recreational opportunities.

Identifying strengths and weaknesses of the athletes and develop training programmes and inspire them to overcome their weaknesses by using different types of coaching styles to add to their confidence level

To motivate the sports persons to participate in different contests to develop and prepare themselves and get an edge over the competitors

Work in conjunction with management, administrator and supporting staff to ensure that all players are supported and developed in achieving their targets.

To ensure the availability of sports goods, sports equipments and infrastructure as per training schedule.

To understand the strengths of the players to advice, guide and counsel the athletes on their nutrition, health, safety and the use of various sports equipment’s.

To create and plan to participate in appropriate tournament and competitions to explore athlete’s abilities, enhance their performance and also construct the road map to reach their desired goal.

To assess, evaluate the performance of the athletes during the training and contests

Conduct regular assessments to evaluate player progress and adjust coaching strategies accordingly.

Collaborate closely with other coaches and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to player development.

Act as a mentor and role model, instilling values of sportsmanship, dedication, and professionalism.

Maintain all required data’s and provide the periodical reports as required by the management.

He ensures adherence to the management policies, regulations and maintains code of conduct.

In addition, you shall perform such other duties as may be assigned by the reporting officer from time to time.

4. Experience participating in various leagues or tournaments is a significant advantage.s.
