Job summary

IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a Credit Manager - Agri in India to assess loan applications and determine creditworthiness for agricultural financing. You'll work within Retail Underwriting - Agri and the Credit - Underwriting function to guide loan terms and risk controls.

You will develop credit policies, review KYC, financials, and collateral, perform RBI checks, and ensure timely underwriting with accurate perfios analyses. Relevant experience is 2-5 years in credit.

• Post Graduate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Help develop relevant unnati MBL loans credit policies based on laws, regulations, and industry trends.
• Assessment of customers sourced bySales Team as per credit policy.
• Scrutiny of loan application, KYC, Financial Reports, Collateral Documents and ascertaining eligibility as per credit policy.
• Underwriting of proposal is based on customers profile.
• Verification of Credit checks like RBI default list, dedupes checks about negative, caution and restricted profiles, Probe details, Individual and Commercial CIBILS, etc. and other mandatory checks as per credit policy and guidelines.
• Analysis of statement of accounts, preparation of perfios.
• Understanding account related parameters. i.e., Churning, Cheque Returns, Utilization of facility, Interest Servicing, Cash flows, Cash deposits, remittance, and receivables details etc.
• Analysis of valuation report and legal reports
• Maintain best Turn Around Time and keep nil Audit and hind-sighting error to ensure quality in underwriting and maintain healthy Portfolio

These managers work with borrowers to explain loan terms and offer advice aimed at reducing risks and achieving positive outcomes for all parties.
