• Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure sound lending practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead and manage the credit team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure optimal performance and professional development.
• Oversee the credit appraisal process, ensuring thorough analysis of borrower financials, creditworthiness, and collateral valuation.
• Monitor the credit portfolio, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize losses.

Role Overview :

As the Credit Head, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the credit function, ensuring the quality and profitability of our lending portfolio. You will lead a team of credit professionals, working closely with business development, risk management, and finance teams to develop and implement credit policies, procedures, and strategies. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining a healthy portfolio, mitigating credit risk, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Required Skillset :

• Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• 15+ years of experience in credit management.
• Strong background in Non-banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) and solid experience in LAP.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement credit policies and procedures that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of credit professionals to achieve high performance and professional growth.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough credit appraisals, assess borrower financials, and evaluate collateral.
• Excellent understanding of credit risk management principles and techniques, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
• Expertise in credit control activities, including collection strategies, recovery processes, and legal remedies.
• Proficient in financial reporting and analysis, with the ability to prepare and present credit risk reports to senior management.
