Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG in Mumbai seeks an Officer in Credit Analysis & Valuation to support financial models, valuations, and credit notes for the Non-Investment Grade portfolio. You will analyze financial statements, calculate cash flow, and monitor risk indicators, under supervision.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in credit analysis, audit, or financial research (internships acceptable).
• Good understanding of financial statements and key ratios.
• Knowledge of financial modeling concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support in preparing financial models and company valuations using standard approaches (comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, etc.).
• Spread financial statements in accordance with bank guidelines including calculation of cash flow, debt service coverage, collateral coverage, and guarantor net worth.
• Track operating and financial performance, prepare quarterly monitoring reports, and update key portfolio metrics.
• Conduct ratio analysis, and write operating performance commentary.
• Assess liquidity, debt capacity and other areas of financial and operating performance to evaluate areas of weakness and potential for turnaround.

Within ICM, the Credit Underwriting function (“ICM UW” or “UW”) provides credit analysis, underwriting, and first line of defense credit approval for periodic / material transaction reviews, and any necessary subsequent credit monitoring across all institutional business including Corporate Banking and Commercial Banking relationships.ICM Credit Analyst will assist in financial and credit analysis activities across the portfolio. This role has responsibility for the Non-Investment Grade portfolio, with a focus on Classified assets.
