Webmedia Experts in Gujarat, India seeks a talented visual designer to take concepts through final hand-off to engineering. You will create wireframes, user flows and layouts, while presenting designs to stakeholders and upholding design standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and about 1 year of design-related experience. A flexible schedule and provident fund are part of the offer.

Responsibilities

• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
• Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
• Collaborate with designers to improve user experience
• Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials
• Plans concept by studying information and materials
• Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
• Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
• Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and purchasing from vendors
• Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art
• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional societies
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
