Job summary

ECS Global India seeks a Creative Designer to transform ideas into visually compelling retail-focused designs. Strong portfolio, attention to detail, and a modern aesthetic are essential. Prior retail and ESL familiarity is a plus; a willingness to learn is valued in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Communication or related field.
• Experience designing customer-facing retail content, promos, in-store assets or signage.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva.

Responsibilities

• Design retail signage, promotional materials, digital assets and customer-facing communications.
• Create concepts, layouts, mock-ups, illustrations and final production-ready artwork.
• Develop visuals for digital signage, in-store displays, marketing campaigns and social content.
• Ensure branding, typography, color schemes and imagery are consistent.
• Collaborate with product, marketing and development teams on visual solutions.
• Review designs and suggest improvements for engagement and impact.
• Stay updated on design trends and retail marketing practices.

About the Role

As a Creative Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective designs for retail signage, promotional materials, digital displays, marketing campaigns, and customer-facing communications.

You will work closely with product teams, developers, and business stakeholders to transform concepts and business requirements into engaging visual experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design creative retail signage, promotional materials, digital assets, and customer-facing communications.
• Create concepts, layouts, mock-ups, illustrations, and final production-ready artwork.
• Develop visually appealing designs for digital signage, in-store displays, marketing campaigns, and social media content.
• Ensure consistency across branding, typography, colour schemes, imagery, and visual elements.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and development teams to deliver high-quality creative solutions.
• Review existing designs and recommend improvements to enhance customer engagement and visual impact.
• Stay up to date with design trends, retail marketing practices, and emerging creative technologies.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Communication or a related field.
• Knowledge of the Retail domain, Retail Applications, Digital Signage, or Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) solutions.
• Experience designing customer-facing retail content, promotional materials, in-store marketing assets, digital displays, or signage solutions.
• Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar creative platforms.
• Experience creating visually engaging layouts, branding elements, marketing creatives, and digital assets.
• Motion graphics, animation, and video editing skills using tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, or equivalent software.
• Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, visual hierarchy, branding, and user-centric design principles.
• Experience working on customer-facing, retail, marketing, e-commerce, or digital signage projects.
• Knowledge of AI-powered design tools and modern creative workflows.
• Strong communication, collaboration, presentation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into impactful visual designs.
• Experience working in Agile or fast‑paced product development environments.

Technical Skills (Optional / Added Advantage)

• Understanding of software development processes and collaboration with development teams.
• Degree in the BCA/MCA or related field of IT.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud technologies.
• Basic understanding of APIs, web applications, and modern web architecture.

Creativity, visual storytelling, and the ability to create eye‑catching customer-facing designs will be considered the most important attributes for this role.
