Job summary

SLB is seeking a Completions (Multi-lateral) Field Specialist to maintain safe, efficient service delivery for PSD to customers on onshore/offshore projects. You will identify improvement opportunities, implement standard work, and manage risk during field operations.

The role requires 7–10 years post-qualification experience with running 2 Tier, 3 Tier, and 5-tier multi-lateral completion tools, and a Diploma or Bachelors in engineering.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s in engineering and technology from a reputed university.
• Minimum 7–10 years post-qualification experience in running multi-lateral completion tools.
• Experience onshore and offshore oilfields.
• Strong HSE discipline and PPE practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
• Responsible for service delivery execution.
• Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
• Operate 2 Tier, 3 Tier and 5 Tier multi-lateral tools per SOP.
• Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.
• Ensure regulatory compliance via CAT, self-assessments, and wellsite inspections.
• Attend Service Quality Meetings and drive improvement actions.
• Support field operations with surveillance, diagnostics, and downhole remediation procedures.
• Coordinate with drilling team for completion proposals and equipment operations.
• Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
• Wear PPE and maintain safety training.

Job Summary

The Completions (Multi-lateral) Field Specialist is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers. The Field Specialist identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manages risk during service delivery.

Job Location

West Coast and East Coast of INDIA

Reporting to Product and Service Delivery Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
• Responsible for service delivery execution.
• Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
• Running in 2 Tier, 3 Tier and 5 Tier Multi-lateral completions tools as per SOP with operational efficiency.
• Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.
• Ensure company and regulatory standard compliance by implementing the CAT, self-assessments, and wellsite inspections.
• Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.
• Responsible for routine well surveillance, problem well diagnostics and proficient in downhole remediation practices and prepare field operational procedures.
• Work with drilling team on completion proposal, installation, snubbing unit operation, tubing installation and retrieval.
• Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
• Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
• Maintain the required safety training.
