What Role You Will Play in Our Team
The primary role of the Cost Engineer is to prepare, review, and endorse cost estimates at various project stages, depending on project maturity.
This involves developing multi-disciplinary estimates for a range of projects.
What You Will Do
Primary Job Functions:
- Prepare multi-disciplinary cost estimates for medium and large projects using appropriate tools.
- Coordinate with project teams and subject matter experts to ensure quality estimates.
- Document all assumptions and clarifications.
- Support selection and optimization studies during project development.
- Identify, evaluate, and capture capital efficiency opportunities and estimate risks.
- Perform cost reconciliation and validation using benchmarking data.
- Mentor and review estimates prepared by other engineers.
- Contribute to Lessons Learned processes throughout the project lifecycle.
About You
Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in EPC or project management in Oil and Gas.
- Experience in cost estimation or proposal execution.
- Proficiency with estimation software like Aspen CCE is a plus.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and relocate to Bengaluru.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with international teams and mentoring.
