Job summary

Oges Solutions is seeking a Cost Controller for its manufacturing operations in Ahmedabad. The role focuses on cost and variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring strong financial controls across the factory.

You will lead the accounting team, monitor P&L, and drive cost-saving initiatives in a consumer durables/FMCG environment. Ideal candidate holds CA/ICWA with 4–8 years of F&A experience in manufacturing, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, and ready to implement robust

Qualifications

• CA or ICWA with relevant F&A experience in manufacturing.
• 4–8 years of experience in handling F&A function in a manufacturing unit, preferably in consumer durables / FMCG.
• Strong understanding of product costing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting and controls.
• Proficient in short and mid-term planning and cost management.
• Good in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Job description

Looking for a Cost Controller for a Kitchen Appliances Client

Location- Ahmedabad

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan and direct management accounting activities (cost & variance analysis, monthly performance analysis, investment decisions, balance sheet management and decision support) for the manufacturing units.
• Ensure strict adherence to established processes and controls and drive compliance mindset in the factory.
• Lead the financial monitoring of the units and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Execute the business planning process, which includes setting up budgets, rolling forecasts and Monthly performance reviews.
• Ensure that the appropriate information systems are in place for management & financial accounting purposes.
• Manage the finance and accounting team of the units ensuring appropriate training and capabilities with the staff.
• Ensure that proper Business and financial controls are maintained in the units and that the organization adheres to it.
• Ensure controls on production inventory (eg., Periodic physical verification, Perpetual count, Obsolete inventory liquidation etc.,)
• Managing P&L of the factory
• Factory operations performance MIS preparation and review with stakeholders
• Takes responsibility of optimization of cost & drive savings initiatives
• Member of Factory Management Team & is responsible to ensure organization is living upto General Business practices in their day-to-day job.
• Evaluating site Capex proposal and budget management
• Ensure periodic vendor accounts reconciliation and dispute resolution
• Global review and reporting factory performance
• Co-ordination with commercial business and extend support

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Education: CA / ICWA
• Experience: 4- 8 years of experience in handling F&A function in a Manufacturing unit preferably in Consumer durables / FMCG industry of repute.
