Corporate Relations Associate || Altera Institute || Work from Office - Gurugram

Altera Institute is seeking a dynamic and proactive Corporate Relations Associate to lead our outreach efforts with leading companies for student placements. This role is vital in enhancing Altera's relationships with the corporate sector, fostering successful student placements, and elevating the institute’s reputation. You will serve as a key liaison between companies and the institute, coordinating the entire placement process while also focusing on strengthening ties with industry partners.

You’ll be the face of Altera to the industry, leading the charge to bring top recruiters on board, while also working closely with students to align them with the right opportunities. It’s a 0 → 1 journey. You’ll be building new systems, forging lasting partnerships, and shaping the future of how companies engage with Altera talent.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Corporate Outreach: Plan, execute, and manage outreach strategies to engage companies from various sectors for recruitment drives and internships. Build and maintain long-term relationships with HR professionals, recruiters, and industry leaders to expand placement opportunities. Identify and engage with potential employers to bring new placement and internship opportunities for students.
  • Placement Coordination & Management: Oversee end-to-end placement activities, including scheduling, organizing, and managing placement drives, interviews, and internship programs. Facilitate communication between students and recruiters, ensuring smooth logistics and alignment with organizational needs. Collaborate with faculty, career services, and student bodies to ensure students are well-prepared for corporate interactions.
  • Brand Building & Corporate Engagement: Represent Altera Institute at corporate events, job fairs, and industry forums to enhance the institute's visibility in the business community. Communicate the institute's value proposition to employers and highlight the talents and skills of Altera’s students. Develop campaigns and engagement strategies with the marketing team to showcase student achievements and placement success stories.
  • Program Management & Reporting: Track and analyse placement activities, providing insights and data-driven recommendations to improve future processes. Prepare regular reports on placement statistics, recruiter feedback, and trends in hiring to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, HR, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in corporate relations, campus recruitment, or similar roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and sustain corporate partnerships.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate large-scale events.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of current recruitment trends and industry demands is a plus.
Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 1+ years of experience managing internal & external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of corporate partnership development and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in people facing roles would be an added advantage.
