Job summary

Hitachi Energy Technology Services Private Limited in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India seeks a senior finance professional to own end-to-end functional Controlling processes within the PGJV finance organization.

You will standardize processes, manage KPI-based performance, and partner with CoE and stakeholders to drive improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance. This role offers growth and exposure to global finance operations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance and accounting or professional qualifications (CA or CMA)
• 5-8 years of experience in Controlling and Accounting at functional and corporate level
• 5+ years of experience in functional Controlling processes in multinational organizations
• Proficient MS Office, incl. Excel
• Good understanding of IT systems: ERP, Planning & Reporting tools and integrated solutions
• Proficiency in spoken and written English

Responsibilities

• Overall accountability for building, standardizing and maintaining Functional Controlling processes throughout the PGJV controlling operating model on a global basis
• End-to-end process management including operational-, technical- and data-related aspects as well as process performance overseeing and steering
• Support and drive continuous process improvements
• Ensure process management, standardization and innovation
• Participate in regular process performance validation for KPI-based steering
• Manage key process stakeholders interactions
• Review identified process inefficiencies and misalignments vs. Process Standards
• Responsible for managing process governance and alignment
• Interact with key stakeholders to ensure process guidance is followed and actions are implemented
• Work with CoE and functional organizations to ensure standards compliance
• Control Process policies and procedures, review and sign-off Change requests
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and guidelines

Your Background:

• A master’s degree in finance and accounting or professional Qualifications (CA or CMA)
• Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in Controlling and Accounting at functional and corporate level with 5+ years of experience in Functional Controlling processes area of matrixed multinational organizations
• Proven Process Management knowledge and experience (e.g. finance process modelling, Business Process Management)
• Proficient MS Office, incl. Excel
• Good understanding of IT systems: ERP, Planning & Reporting tools and integrated solutions
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
