Job description

The Controls Room Team within Control Management works collaboratively with other control disciplines and oversees existing control functions as well as the development of new control functions and protocols. The team’s objective is to empower the three lines of defense with risk-based information to manage their control environment. We achieve this by collecting, analyzing, and monitoring firmwide risk-based intelligence across all lines of business and corporate functions. As a Control Manager Program Vice President, you will be a key member of the team, leading cross-functional delivery for firmwide programs that impact Control Management.

As a Control Manager Program Vice President within the Controls Room organization, you will translate enterprise requirements into executable project strategies, integrated roadmaps, and measurable outcomes. You will serve as a senior delivery and governance leader, aligning stakeholders across lines of business, product, and technology; proactively identifying and mitigating delivery, operational, and control risks; and driving disciplined execution against milestones, quality standards, and service-level agreements.

You will also own User Acceptance Testing governance for in-scope programs by establishing the UAT strategy, readiness standards, entry and exit criteria, and consolidated reporting. Working across business and technology teams, you will ensure end-to-end testing is appropriately planned, staffed, and executed, and that UAT scope, defects, and results remain aligned with program objectives and control effectiveness outcomes. Join our collaborative, high-impact team and help strengthen how Control Management delivers complex firmwide change.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead change management for program requirements, influencing senior stakeholders and evolving operating models/processes to embed sustainable ways of working
  • Define UAT governance framework, readiness checkpoints, entry/exit criteria, and reporting; oversee UAT planning and execution across teams; ensure defects are managed with appropriate accountability and sign-off
  • Own executive-level scorecards and reporting (delivery progress, SLA adherence, testing progress, defect trends, dependency tracking), driving transparency and continuous improvement
  • Influence and drive alignment across Business, Product, Technology and Risk/Control leadership; resolve cross-program dependencies and remove execution barriers
  • Mentor and manage program managers, set expectations for delivery rigor, and standardize best practices across the portfolio
