Job summary

Nextpower is a solar technology company delivering a comprehensive platform for utility-scale and distributed generation projects across India and the Middle East. We seek a Contracts Manager to lead negotiation, administration, and risk mitigation for contracts, ensuring compliant documentation and timely approvals.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support project managers, and continuously improve contract processes while maintaining high accuracy and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in contracts management.
• Attention to detail and a zero-defect mindset.
• Self-motivated with persistence to follow up with all required stakeholders to closure.
• Open minded and highly collaborative with teams across functions and regions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Support contract management for India and the Middle East.
• Review, negotiate, and execute a variety of contracts including commercial Supply Agreements, Service Agreements, and Amendments.
• Ensure adherence to contract policies, processes, and guidelines necessary to maintain secure contract documentation in the contract database.
• Develop the ability to learn Nextpower’s risk profile, understand how to adapt content to mitigate risks, and help develop strategies to minimize potential risks to the business.
• Manage the contract lifecycle process, prepare all required documentation, coordinate business and legal approval and obtain appropriate signatures.
• Assist with the continual improvement in the speed, quality, and simplicity of contract formation and management processes, without compromising compliance.
• Coordinate with clients regarding industry standards.
• Coordinate with the Sales and legal teams.
• Support Project Managers with any contractual issues
• Report the status of current contract processes to management
• Resolve any existing contract conflictsServe as a liaison between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages.
