Job summary

Mphasis is seeking a skilled Software Developer for IMAGE and BIOS deployments at its Bangalore client location. The role focuses on Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM OSD) to build and maintain Windows images. Strong programming and cross-team communication are essential.

Ideal candidate has 3-6 years of hands-on experience with MDT/SCCM OSD, imaging tools, and PowerShell/VB scripting. Bachelor's or higher in CS/IS preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically 3-6 years of experience in imaging/deployment.

Responsibilities

• Manage requests for new images through defined processes and deploy images.
• Develop and implement improvements to image deployment processes.
• Coordinate and execute change control for image deployment and communicate with customers.
• Provide complex technical assistance for Windows 10 core image development.
• Collaborate with global PMs and stakeholders to understand and implement customer needs.

Job Summary -

We are urgently looking for a skilled developer with hands-on experience in Microsoft Deployment toolkit (MDT) and System Center Configuration Manager Operating Deployment (SCCM OSD). The ideal candidate will have strong programming abilities and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities would include managing requests for new images through standard defined processes, development and implementation and improvement of those processes, coordinating and executing change control processes that apply to the deployment of images, communications to customer management and end-users as necessary
• Participate in complex technical assistance for service requests to develop new Windows 10 core images
• Work with the global PM's and global stakeholders to understand the customer need and implement the same
• Root cause analysis of factory stop ship issues
• Collaborates and communicates with internal partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
• Participates as a member of the project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem.

Technical Skills

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Successfully applies knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.
• Typically, 3-6 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities
• Imaging Tools like Symantec Ghost, DISM, ImageX.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Deployment toolkit (MDT) and System Center Configuration Manger Operating Deployment (SCCM OSD).
• Knowledge of PowerShell and VB scripting is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Microsoft MDT/SCCM best practices is beneficial.
• Demonstrate the ability to apply basic analytical skills for debugging and troubleshooting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate options.
• Works independently on assigned projects
