Overview

The Content Writer will be responsible for crafting platform-specific written content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other channels/SEO. The ideal candidate should be able to combine creativity, marketing insight, and audience understanding to produce captions, ad copy, and campaign content that performs.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation for Social Media: Write engaging, original, and high-quality captions, ad copy, and post content in English; adapt content tone and style to match the platform and target audience; create attention-grabbing hooks for short-form video scripts, reels, and TikToks; collaborate with the design and video team to align visuals with copy; write concise, impactful copy for carousels, infographics, and promotional posts.
• Campaign Support: Develop creative taglines, hashtags, and slogans for campaigns; assist in creating copy for social media ads with a focus on conversions; support marketing initiatives with written content for contests, polls, and interactive posts.
• Research & Trend Analysis: Research social media trends, competitor campaigns, and audience behaviour; generate fresh content ideas based on trending topics and formats; write SEO-friendly social media copy where applicable; track engagement and suggest copy improvements based on performance.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience writing English content for social media & SEO.
• Exceptional command of written English (grammar, vocabulary, clarity).
• Ability to write short, impactful, and emotionally resonant copy.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X/Twitter).
• Creativity in storytelling and marketing-driven writing.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without constant follow-up.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in IT, tech, or digital marketing content.
• Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite).
• Knowledge of Canva or basic design tools (to collaborate with designers).
