Big NGO is seeking a passionate content writer to craft guides, case studies, and SEO content that helps Indian NGOs discover our work. This fully remote role offers flexible hours and the chance to shape our content strategy.

You will write 4–6 long-form posts monthly, conduct interviews with NGO founders, create website copy, emails, and campaigns, and optimize content to drive leads, while coordinating with the design team.

About Big NGO

Big NGO's content is one of its primary growth channels. We publish practical long-form guides on NGO compliance, fundraising, HR, digital marketing, and technology — content that is genuinely useful to NGO leaders, not generic blog fodder. You will own this content strategy end-to-end.

What you will do

• Write 4–6 long-form blog posts per month on NGO compliance, fundraising, digital tools, and sector news
• Research and interview NGO founders for case study content
• Write website copy for new features and landing pages
• Create email newsletters and WhatsApp campaign content
• Optimise existing content for SEO and convert traffic to leads
• Maintain the content calendar and coordinate with the design team

What you need

• Strong English writing skills — you can explain complex topics simply
• 1+ years of content writing experience (samples required)
• Basic understanding of SEO (keyword research, on-page optimisation)
• Ability to research unfamiliar topics quickly and accurately
• Interest in or knowledge of the Indian NGO sector

Nice to have

• Prior writing experience in fintech, legaltech, or social sector
• Familiarity with 80G, FCRA, CSR compliance topics
• Experience with SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools
