Lokal is seeking a Content Specialist – QC with strong expertise in content, language, creative, and visual quality. The role involves evaluating content beyond basic guidelines, focusing on audience, performance, production, and AI-generated content.

Based in Bangalore, you will review scripts and videos for language, grammar, context, and flow; ensure content is natural and audience-friendly; identify quality issues and help improve QC processes; collaborate with writers, editors, and language

Qualifications

• Must have strong command of Hindi and English, with ability to read, write, and edit in both languages.
• Experience in content QA, editorial, or digital media.
• Familiarity with AI-generated content workflows is a plus.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Content Specialist – QC with strong expertise in content, language, creative, and visual quality. The role involves evaluating content beyond basic guidelines, with a focus on audience, performance, production, and AI-generated content.

Key Responsibilities

Content & Language QC

• Review scripts and videos for language, grammar, factual accuracy, context, flow, and overall quality.
• Ensure content is natural, audience-friendly, and culturally relevant.
• Identify recurring quality issues and improve QC processes and checklists.

Creative & Visual QC

• Review hooks, storytelling, pacing, editing, subtitles, graphics, thumbnails, and visual quality.
• QC both creator/live-shoot and AI-generated content.
• Identify issues in AI-generated visuals, voice, avatars, animation, lip-sync, and pronunciation.
• Evaluate content from a performance perspective, including attention and retention.

AI Riya / Sahi English QC

• QC AI conversations and prompts for language, grammar, pronunciation, relevance, context, and conversational flow.
• Identify unnatural AI responses and support prompt improvements.
• Support Sahi English and Gyan TV content/product QC.

Performance & Team Support

• Use content performance data to identify quality gaps and improvement areas.
• Audit existing content and recommend improvements.
• Work with writers, editors, creators, and language teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain QC documentation and standardise quality across languages.
• Take ownership of quality improvement, not just issue identification.

Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in content, editorial, production, digital media, or content QC.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Native/near-native proficiency in Hindi Language and ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong understanding of short-form video, creator content, and digital storytelling.
• Experience with live production and AI-generated content is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools, voice/video generation, and AI content workflows.
• Strong eye for visual, creative, language, and content quality.
• Data-driven mindset with strong ownership and cross-functional coordination skills.
