You will be responsible for delivering engaging, goal-driven content across multiple formats for a global clientele while ensuring alignment with SEO, Social Media, Performance Marketing, UI/UX, and Product Development teams.
Responsibilities
- 1. Leadership Team Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of content writers, supporting their growth in creativity, ownership, and performance.
- Delegate tasks, manage workloads, and drive team productivity while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Foster a collaborative, feedback-driven environment that encourages innovation and learning.
- 2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as the primary content liaison across departments and with external clients.
- Work closely with SEO, Performance Marketing, Social Media, UI/UX, Design, iOS, and Android teams to deliver integrated, high-impact content.
- Represent the content team in project briefings, strategic discussions, and review sessions to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- 3. Client-Focused Content Delivery:
- Manage a wide range of content deliverables websites, brochures, leaflets, mobile applications, and more.
- Translate client briefs into actionable content strategies tailored to platforms, user journeys, and industries.
- Ensure all outputs meet brand guidelines, timelines, and client expectations.
- 4. Content Strategy Execution:
- Develop and implement data-informed content strategies aligned with marketing goals, SEO, and audience behavior.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging formats, and international content strategies.
- Conduct competitive and market research, with support from internal teams, to shape relevant and distinctive content.
- 5. Quality Control Optimization:
- Oversee the creation of SEO-optimized, brand-consistent content across all formats- blogs, websites, landing pages, product descriptions, etc
- Review and refine content before delivery, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
- Track content performance and recommend strategic improvements based on data insights.
Requirements
- Masters degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in content development, content marketing, or digital communications.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring content teams in fast-paced, multi-project environments.
- Strong understanding of SEO, content lifecycle management, and international content strategy.
- Excellent writing, editing, and research skills with keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and content tools (eg, WordPress, SEMrush, SurferSEO).
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to manage content performance reporting and adapt strategies accordingly.
