Job summary

Invenio is seeking a Consultant SAP ABAP with 3–6 years of hands-on experience to deliver end-to-end SAP ABAP solutions. The role requires collaboration with functional teams, mentoring junior members, and contributing to project success in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will design, develop, and optimize reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements while aligning with SDLC best practices and performance tuning. Strong communication skills are essential for client-facing work.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of hands-on SAP ABAP experience.
• Strong experience in ABAP development (Reports, Interfaces, Forms, Enhancements).
• Experience with SAP HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
• Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and SAP development best practices.
• Experience in performance tuning, debugging, and code optimization.
• Exposure to data migration tools and techniques.
• Experience in client-facing roles and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable and high-quality SAP ABAP solutions based on business requirements.
• Lead technical design discussions and provide optimal solution approaches.
• Develop and enhance reports, interfaces, forms, workflows, and custom objects.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Perform code reviews, ensure quality standards, and enforce best practices.
• Handle complex debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
• Support full project lifecycle including implementation, upgrades, rollouts, and support.
• Guide and mentor junior team members and support their technical growth.
• Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks with high quality.
• Stay updated with emerging SAP technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Summary:

The Consultant – SAP ABAP is responsible for delivering end-to-end SAP technical solutions, including design, development, and implementation. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in ABAP, the ability to handle complex requirements, and active collaboration with functional and business stakeholders. The consultant is expected to work independently, contribute to project success, and mentor junior team members.

Key Skills

• Strong Experience in SAP ABAP development (Reports, Interfaces, Forms, Enhancements)
• 3–6 years of hands-on experience working with SAP modules and customization
• Strong experience in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP)
• Experience with SAP HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services
• Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and SAP development best practices
• Experience in performance tuning, debugging, and code optimization
• Knowledge of integration techniques (IDocs, RFCs, Web Services)
• Exposure to data migration tools and techniques
• Experience in client-facing roles and stakeholder management
• Ability to mentor junior consultants and review technical deliverables
• SAP ABAP or related SAP certifications (preferred)
