Job summary

Brillio is seeking a Senior Engineer, Applications & Platforms in Bengaluru to own SAP infrastructure on AWS. The role requires hands-on SAP on AWS experience, automation skills, and proficiency with Terraform and IaC.

You will manage SAP environments across multiple stages, ensure high availability, and implement HA/DR with Pacemaker. Exposure to HANA/Sybase is a differentiator; AWS, Linux/Windows admin, and scripting are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in SAP infrastructure and AWS cloud engineering with automation and high-availability.
• Experience administering SAP environments across development, QA, UAT, and production.
• Configured and monitored AWS compute, storage, networking, and backup for SAP workloads.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize SAP infrastructure, applications and databases hosted on AWS for high availability and performance.

Job requirements

Experience Range: With at least 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP infrastructure and AWS cloud engineering, including practical exposure to automation and high availability solutions Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize SAP infrastructure, applications, and databases hosted on AWS Cloud, ensuring high availability and performance metrics are consistently met
• Administer SAP environments across development, QA, UAT, and production, executing regular maintenance, upgrades, and performance reviews
• Configure and monitor AWS compute, storage, networking, and backup components supporting SAP workloads, proactively identifying and resolving issues
• Perform Linux/RHEL and Windows Server administration, including patching, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for SAP systems
• Implement and maintain SAP High Availability solutions using Pacemaker clustering, supporting disaster recovery and replication strategies
• Support SAP HANA and Sybase database environments, managing backup/recovery, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity and uptime
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python and Bash/Shell to streamline infrastructure management and operational workflows
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, collaborating with SAP Basis, DBA, Cloud, DevOps, Security, and Application teams
