Inviting applications for the role of Consultant, QA Automation Engineer

I n this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Database testing using SQL preferably using SQL Server Management Studio for MSSQL server
  • An attitude to debug issues and provide solutions to the issues raised while testing and having a “Can do” attitude with an eye for Quality
  • Mindset to be always tuned to collaboration across scrum teams and cross functional teams
  • Aware of latest trending best practices, tools, techniques, tips, and tricks in automation testing
  • Creation and execution of automation testing strategies and framework
  • Automation initiatives to reduce functional defects and uncover performance problems early, well before code is released into production
Qualifications we seek in you!
  • BE/B Tech/MCA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
  • Experience of working as functional QA
  • Hands‑on experience in UI automation technologies Playwright, Cypress
  • Good understanding of Software Testing & Defect Life Cycle
  • Good understanding of QA processes, executions & reporting
  • Ability to understand and analyse requirements.
  • Ability to design user stories and define acceptance criteria.
  • Hands‑on experience to troubleshoot/investigate environment issues.
  • Hands‑on experience working with defect tracking using tools like Jira, ALM and continuous integration systems.
  • Understanding of capital markets, electronic trading, order flow and execution, FIX protocol
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • A quick learner, being able to adapt to a fast‑paced heterogeneous environment and acquire necessary knowledge.
  • Understanding of KDB technology
  • Basic knowledge of Unix environments
