Job summary

Sony Music Global Job Board is seeking a Product Manager for Fan Platform & D2C to translate user and business needs into clear specifications, design and optimize Artist Pages and customer journeys, and support launches across content, commerce and fan engagement.

Work closely with SaaS partner, UI/UX, Marketing and Product teams to deliver intuitive, data-driven features that enhance fan experiences and drive platform growth. Based in Mumbai.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 5 years of experience in Product Management, Digital Product Development, UI/UX, or related roles.
  • Experience working on consumer-facing web or mobile applications; collaboration with engineering or SaaS platforms preferred.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX, user journey mapping, wireframes, product docs (PRDs, user stories), Agile, and product analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with SaaS partner and UI/UX teams to design, develop, test, and launch features for the Fan Platform.
  • Design and optimize Artist Pages and fan journeys to improve usability, engagement, and conversion.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and product documentation aligned with business goals.

Job description

As Product Manager - Fan Platform & D2C, you will work closely with our SaaS partner, UI/UX, Marketing, and Product teams to develop and enhance features across our fan platform. You'll translate user and business requirements into clear product specifications, help design and optimize Artist Pages and customer journeys, and support the launch of digital products and experiences across content, commerce, and fan engagement. Success in this role means delivering intuitive, user-centric features that improve the fan experience and contribute to the platform's growth.

What you'll do:
  • Work closely with our SaaS partner and UI/UX team to design, develop, test, and launch new features and enhancements across the Fan Platform
  • Help design and optimize Artist Pages, fan journeys, and other platform experiences to improve usability, engagement, and conversion.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and product documentation, ensuring features align with business objectives and user needs.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, CRM, Content, and Product teams to support feature launches and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Monitor platform performance, analyse user behaviour and feedback, and recommend improvements based on data and insights.
  • Gather business and user requirements and translate them into clear product specifications, user stories, and functional requirements.
Who you are:
  • Previous Experience: ~5 years of experience in Product Management, Digital Product Development, UI/UX, or Business Analysis, with experience working on consumer-facing web or mobile applications. Experience collaborating with engineering teams or SaaS platforms is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related field. Certifications in Product Management, UX, or Agile are a plus.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, user journey mapping, wireframing (Figma or similar), product documentation (PRDs, user stories), Agile methodologies, and product analytics. Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Interests: Passion for digital products, consumer technology, music and entertainment, fan communities, and creating intuitive user experiences that solve real customer needs
